The Southside Master Gardener Association (SSMGA) supports the Virginia Cooperative Extension and its mission to “enable people to improve their lives through an educational process that uses scientific knowledge focused on issues and needs”.
The Southside Master Gardener Plant Sale will be held on Saturday May 7 from 7:30 a.m. to noon on the lawn in front of the Halifax Extension Office. Plants of all types will be for sale as well as garden art, fairy garden and herbal vinegars. There will be a special table for items appropriate for Mother's Day presents. Baked goods will also be for sale as will handpainted rain barrels.
