The Southside Master Gardener Association (SSMGA) supports the Virginia Cooperative Extension and its mission to “enable people to improve their lives through an educational process that uses scientific knowledge focused on issues and needs”.
Achievement Awards Presented
The Southside Master Gardener Association recently presented Achievement Awards for volunteer hours. Receiving awards are David Compton 500 hours; Dawn Bruno 250 hours; Bill McCaleb Master Gardener Coordinator; Rita Powell 1000 hours; and Bettie Irby 500 hours.
