Color in the Shade Program Coming to Museum March 24

The VCE Southside Master Gardener Association will offer a spring gardening program on Color in the Shade on March 24th at the South Boston Halifax County Museum from 11 am to 1 pm. This program is free and open to the public.

Kathy Conner Cornell, VCE Southside Master Gardener, will be presenting Color in the Shade. Shade gardens have advantages like less competition from weeds and cooler temperatures. There are plants that are very happy in the shade. Learn how you can make your shade garden pop with color. The program will be held at the South Boston Halifax County Museum at 1540 Wilborn Avenue, South Boston on March 24th from 11 am to 1 pm. The program is open to the public and there is no charge however, reservations are requested.
